While I wasn't directly held hostage I was in a barricade situation in which I had to be rescued by 2 SWAT teams and aproximatley 90 officers. The suspect was a former Marine with numereous medals and citations for bravery. He killed a woman in front of her 3 children and raped her 12 year old daughter for numereous hours. I was also hogtied and robbed as a cashier. My Dr had his mom and dad held hostage by Iraqi guerrillas for 10 years. Thank You Phoenix PD, Phoenix SWAT, Aurora PD, Adams County Sheriff Department.

I met Ms. Fraley at a Hostage Crisis Negotiators conference in Indianapolis Indiana. She is an incredible lady with an awesome will to live. She touched my heart and I will never forget her story. Keep up the awesome work!
